Three new devices have been added to the Zenfone family as Asus made the announcement at Computex Tapei yesterday. Asus Zenfone 3 comes in three models with different sizes and technical specifications.
The regular Zenfone 3 comes with decent specifications and has the lowest price. The Deluxe version, however, has a more premium design, and has a whopping 6 gigabytes of RAM while the Zenfone Ultra has a screen size that makes it almost look like a tablet.
Asus Zenfone 3
Asus Zenfone 3 comes with a 5.5″ LCD screen and a 1080p resolution. It has a 4GB RAM and it’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. It has up to 64GB internal storage, a 16MP camera is at the back and another 8MP camera right in the front.
The front and back is made of Corning Gorilla Glass 3, a fingerprint sensor is placed at the back just below the camera and under the hood is a 3000mAh battery. The phone has a metal frame and it’s available in gold, blue, black, and white. Pricing starts at $249.
Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe
Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe steps up the specifications with the RAM hitting the 6GB mark. It comes with a 5.7-inch OLED screen and a unibody with “invisible” antenna lines which Asus describes as the world’s first. A 23MP camera adorns the rear and the front carries an 8MP shooter.
Zenfone 3 Deluxe comes with Snapdragon 820 SoC. The device comes with USB Type-C 3.0 port and the three colors available are gray, silver, and gold. Other specifications like the battery capacity, screen resolution are similar to the baseline Zenfone 3. Pricing starts at $499.
Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra
Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra has a pretty large screen that measures 6.8 inches. It’s has an LCD panel and the device is powered by a Snapdragon 625 chipset.
It comes with 4GB RAM, 23MP camera, a 4,600mAh camera and a USB-C 3.0 with DisplayPort support. Pricing starts at $579.
